A farmer of Bothaville in the Free State died of complications from injuries sustained during a farm attack in December 2017. The wife of Gerrie Labuschagne (64), Annetjie, confirmed that Gerrie has died. The couple was attacked on their farm Normandie, on the Humansvlakte on 3 December 2017. They had just arrived back from church and had stopped under the carport when the three black male attackers attacked them and beat Gerrie over the head with a steel pipe repeatedly. Annetjie could get hold of her firearm and wounded one attacker after which the attackers fled. The 3 attackers were arrested in the vicinity when farmers in the area responded. The 3 attackers are still on trial. One of the attackers worked on the farm he attacked. A friend of Gerrie, Thinus Barnard, told the media that Gerrie was a fit and healthy farmer until he was attacked. Gerrie sustained serious head injuries in the attack and could not walk after a while. His wife was not able to look after him full time and he was admitted to a care facility in Bothaville. One wonders why Agri SA, the purported association for farmers never says anything about this slaughter of members of their profession. Dan Kriek, a self declared ” progressive” farmer rather gave a very expensive South Devon stud bull to Cyril Ramaphosa on Sunday 8 March 2020, in Tweeling, the same Ramaphosa who denied that there are ANY farm murders whilst he was on a visit to New York in 2018.

How the ANC brainwashed the world to accept slaughter of SA farmers
Published by Opinion by Crime Correspondent, South Africa News on 25th February 2020
The more the ANC’s criminal nature, incompetence and large scale looting is revealed, the more the ANC needs to keep the narrative in place that all land was stolen by whites. This of course is to keep black majority support.
The ANC, supported by liberal media, is deliberately creating the notion that whites are evil thieves against who the black majority needs to be protected. This perception leads to a sort of justification amongst the black majority, the international community and even some whites who are naive that it is acceptable to murder and rob whites.
A target is in other words being painted on the white community and this has been happening for decades. As an example, it should be remembered how the ANC MP Duduzile Promise Manana shouted ” Bury them alive” in Parliament, referring to white farmers, when Dr Pieter Mulder of the FF Plus initiated a debate on farm murders in 2017.
This narrative – Cyril Ramaphosa is a good example of a man speaking in narratives and code – is being used by the ANC – and accepted by the international liberal world and liberal media – to justify the suppression of minority rights. Of course the Courts including the Constitutional Court are just an extension of the ANC ideology and it is after all the ANC that appoints the judges. The regular and constant attacks on whites also lead to the white minority – who are really the ones who should care most – being left numbed and starting to put their heads in the sand because they are unable to deal with it anymore.
Because the ANC is so good at twisting history, they own the narrative of the absolute evilness of apartheid and whites in general and that situation in turn seems to lead to a situation where the international community don’t seem to care about the large scale farm murders and general onslaught against the white minority.
The ANC narrative is strengthened in various ways, for instance school history books. Now that the ANC completely owns history and the narrative of the day, they felt safe to implement expropriation without compensation.
If the white minority and especially Afrikaners wants to reverse the trend of slow extermination of our ethnic group, we will have to do more to stand together in a true movement so that resources can be pooled to better represent us. In this regard it is important to remember that liberal media will always take the ANC side for financial reasons.
All the major mainstream media houses in South Africa were already captured by the ANC and black elites supporting them, so it will be vital for the white minority and also the coloured minority to support our own media platforms that gives our perspective and tells our stories.

Afriforum’s 2019 farm attack stats: Defend yourself because the government won’t
Published by Crime Correspondent, South Africa News on 20th February 2020
Afriforum has released statistics of farm murders and attacks for the 2019 year and it shows that farm attacks have increased yearly from 2011.
Altogether 552 farm attacks were reported to Afriforum in 2019. It represents a 27% increase from the 433 farm attacks reported in 2018. Lorraine Claassen, an analyst with Afriforum, says the most farm murders were in the Free State last year, a total of 11. The numbers of farm murders in the Free State have risen considerably in the last 3 years. Altogether 30% of farm attacks last year occurred in Gauteng. Claasen explains that criminals can attack multiple smallholdings like those in Erasmia and Muldersdrift in one night because they are close together.
Claasen says that 905 people were affected by attacks on farms and smallholdings last year.
In 26% of farm attacks there was a definite attempted murder involved. Murders were committed in 9% of farm attacks and rape in 3 % of farm attacks. There was percentage wise 1,1 farm murders per week and 1,5 % farm attacks per day in 2019. The average number of attackers per incident was 3.
According to Claasen most farm attacks involved forced entry by for instance breaking down doors or burglar bars and most farm attackers came with a vehicle ( which will make patrols of rural roads essential as the Police is not doing it). Theo de Jager, head of agricultural body Saai, says in 26% of cases farm workers were the victims of attacks.
Ian Cameron of Afriforum points out that the statistics point out that it is clear that the South African Police and government are unable or unwilling or both to protect farmers and farm workers and that farmers will have to defend themselves ( so pls start to carry the firearms you have and not always keep it in the safe from where the criminals will take it if they surprise you in your bed).
Just this week it was reported that the bodies of 2 men, aged 50 and 54 were found on a smallholding at Maclear in the Eastern Cape. Their hands were tied and throats slit. Their names have not been released.

Is this justice? Trial of 7 accused in 2017 farm murder did not start yet
Published by Crime Correspondent, South Africa News on 19th February 2020
Seven black farm attackers in a farm murder case and attempted farm murder in the Kleinfontein area of North West are playing the system and dragging the case out endlessly and the Legal Aid Board is also to blame. The accused are in custody for attempted murder by shooting and wounding farmer Hennie Eksteen on 29 June 2017 on his farm and shooting farmer Dries Botha 7 times on 4 July 2017. Both incidents happened in the same area. The case was previously postponed several times after the Legal Aid Board had to appoint new lawyers, for the account of taxpayers of course, after the accused began to point fingers at each other. Two of the accused escaped out of the Hartbeespoort police cells in Dec 2018, they were later re-arrested. Eventually the magistrate postponed the case to 4,17 and 20 February this year for trial but on 4 February only one attorney from the Legal Aid Board showed up. The case was postponed to 17 February but then Adv Naas de Jager, representing 4 accused, announced that he is withdrawing because one of the accused, Caiphus Shilenge, is changing his story the whole time. The magistrate in the matter postponed the case again pending the appearance of the head of the Legal Aid Board in North West in front of the Court to explain the situation. It is uncertain when the matter will now be tried as the Legal Aid Board head in the province must appear before Court before anything can be decided.

The civil rights organisation AfriForum has noted with concern the arrest of three police members from the Ficksburg Police Station in relation to a farm attack that took place near Rosendal on 13 January 2020. The three police members appeared in the Ficksburg Magistrates Court on 3 February 2020. AfriForum is consulting with its legal team to consider all legal remedies, including a watching brief, to ensure that justice prevails. “Police members should be held to an even higher standard than the average citizen – they should symbolise a fortress of justice – not the opposite,” says Joseph Renaud, Head of Safety for the central region at AfriForum. “With the Free State farming community already under constant threat from criminals, the last thing they need is a further destruction of their already fragile relationship with the SAPS,” says Renaud. This incident furthermore comes at an inconvenient time for Police Minister Bheki Cele, who has been using every platform at his disposal to advocate for the amendment of the Firearms Control Act, 2000 (Act 60 of 2000) in order to eventually ban private citizens from owning firearms. “We hope that this incident will bring Cele back to reality. It is unfathomable that his scheme to improve safety in South Africa should start with disarming law-abiding citizens, whilst his own SAPS apparently has sufficient problems that need sorting out first,” says Ian Cameron, Head of Community Safety at AfriForum. AfriForum will soon announce further steps with regard to the three police members and will take the necessary steps to ensure that criminal elements within the SAPS are held accountable.

Farm murders: AfriForum lays complaints against Ramaphosa and Sisulu at UN
Published by AfriForum, South Africa News on 21st January 2020
AfriForum on 21 January 2020, laid formal complaints against President Cyril Ramaphosa and Lindiwe Sisulu (in her capacity as the former Minister of International Relations and Cooperation) with the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Situation of Human Rights Defenders for attempting to discredit AfriForum as a human rights defender and, in doing so, impairing the work that the organisation is doing to promote human and civil rights in South Africa.
This follows Ramaphosa’s statement on farm murders and land grabs in September 2018 during a visit to the USA. The charge is aimed at Ramaphosa’s reaction to US President Donald Trump’s tweet in August 2018 that Trump had instructed his secretary of state to investigate land grabs and farm murders in South Africa.
In reaction to the tweet, Ramaphosa said in an interview on Bloomberg (an international news channel) that Trump had been misinformed about the situation in South Africa. He said: “There are no killings of farmers, or white farmers in South Africa. There is no land grab in South Africa.”
Ramaphosa’s statements came after AfriForum’s visit to the USA in May 2018 to create awareness of the South African government’s policy of expropriation without compensation (and the associated land grabs), as well as for farm murders. Shortly after AfriForum’s trip, the then South African Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Lindiwe Sisulu, responded to AfriForum’s liaison tour to the USA by accusing the US President and AfriForum of spreading “blatant lies” and “misinformation” about South Africa.
AfriForum requests in its complaint that the Special Rapporteur:
Obtain a commitment from Ramaphosa and the South African government that it will effectively protect AfriForum as a human rights defender;
Hold Ramaphosa and the South African government responsible for their alleged attempts at discrediting AfriForum’s efforts to raise international awareness about gross human rights violations, particularly against minorities, in South Africa.
Request that Ramaphosa and Sisulu retract their statements on an international platform.
“Farm murders, the expropriation of property without compensation and land grabs are serious issues where human rights have already been violated and in respect of which many people’s rights would still be violated if these tendencies are not stopped.
The first step in addressing these issues is to admit that it exists. It is very worrying that the South African government ignores these issues locally, but it is unacceptable for the President to completely deny the existence of these crises in the international sphere. The attempts by the President’s spokespeople to contextualise his statements after his return to South Africa did nothing to repair the damage that was done internationally,” says Ernst Roets, AfriForum’s Head of Policy and Action.
AfriForum regards farm murders and land grabs as serious violations of human rights that, according to Roets, should be condemned by all influential role-players and governments worldwide who believe in the protection of human rights.
“That is why AfriForum actively campaigns for the international recognition of the crises of farm murders, land grabs and expropriation without compensation. AfriForum will shortly announce further actions to put international awareness of these issues at the forefront.”
During a media conference next week, AfriForum will disclose more information about this matter and future plans for raising international awareness, as well as lobbying for support in South Africa.

Far to often it is argued that this violent and demonic behavior does not affect only white civilized communities but that it is the norm in townships and black rural areas where black on black violence is out of control. Well that’s the point! Why should civilized, functional communities suffer this barbaric behavior?

NCOP: Shocking that FF Plus motion regarding murder of farmers was rejected
Published by FF Plus on 28th November 2019
It is shocking that the motion that the FF Plus proposed regarding the murder of a farmer, Mr Schalk van der Merwe, was rejected in the National Council of Provinces on 26 November 2019, while other motions that condemned murders were accepted, also by the FF Plus. The ANC and the EFF unanimously rejected the motion with interjections such as: “We want the land.”
In its motion, the FF Plus referred to the incident in which Mr Van der Merwe was attacked and murdered on Sunday 24 November 2019, near Wolmaransstad in the North West province. His wife, Lettie, was seriously injured.
The FF Plus requested in its motion that the Minister of Police and all the MECs for Public Safety in all the provinces must take note of the murder and must prioritize crime prevention so as to ensure the safety of all South Africans.
The FF Plus responded by saying that by not accepting the motion, the members of the National Council of Provinces is sending a loud and clear message to the public that murder and the high crime rate in the country are acceptable.
The FF Plus finds it shocking and unacceptable that the murder of a farmer elicits no sympathy from the ANC and the EFF.
Thousands of farmers have been murdered over the last 25 years under ANC rule in South Africa. The fact that Members of Parliament seemingly do not condemn the murder of a farmer sends out an ominous message and now President Cyril Ramaphosa will have to say whether he condones this kind of attitude.
FF Plus condemns brutal Wolmaransstad farm murder
Published by FF Plus on 28th November 2019
The FF Plus strongly condemns the murder of Mr Schalk van der Merwe and the vicious attack on his wife, Lettie. The couple was attacked on Sunday 24 November 2019, on their farm near Wolmaransstad in the North West province.
The FF Plus will continue to put pressure on the government to declare farm murders and attacks priority crimes. It is unacceptable that being a farmer in South Africa is more dangerous than being a police officer.
Agriculture is not just a vocation, it is a calling and every single South African’s survival is threatened by farmers being murdered.
A crime against a farmer is a crime against an entire community – and not only locally, but across the entire country as it is one of the biggest factors that threaten food security.
The time has come for the ANC government to stop paying lip service and to implement the rural safety plan. The stigmatization and victimization of farmers must also stop as it is not only to the detriment of farmers, their families and workers, but also the whole South Africa.
The FF Plus is calling on all rural communities to take control of their safety by joining organised safety structures in their area and to secure and defend themselves within the prescriptions of the law.
The FF Plus expresses its deepest condolences to the friends and family of the victim and wishes Mrs Van der Merwe a speedy recovery.

An intelligence driven operation on Friday, 22 November 2019, by Mahikeng Flying Squad, Lichtenburg Visible Policing and Organised Crime Unit led to the arrest of three suspects between the ages of 18 and 35 in Lichtenburg for illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
According to information available at this stage, the arrest emanated from intelligence received that the suspects were conspiring to commit a house robbery at one of the farms in Coligny.
It is alleged that a car chase ensued after the suspects’ vehicle was spotted on the Biesiesvlei road. As a result, three suspects were ultimately cornered and searched together with their vehicle. Although nothing was found, the suspects consequently took the police to a place in Blydeville outside Lichtenburg where three hunting rifles, one pistol, one pistol magazine and 44 rounds of ammunition were discovered inside a shack.
The fourth suspect aged 18, was arrested in the premises for illegal possession of ammunition. That was after 53 rounds of ammunition were found hidden beneath his bed.
Preliminary investigation into the matter revealed that the firearms were reportedly stolen during a house robbery in July this year at a farm in Bospoort.
The suspects are expected to appear in the Lichtenburg Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 25 November 2019.
The Provincial Commissioner of North West, Lieutenant General Baile Motswenyane applauded the police and members of the community for their collaboration which resulted in the success. She said further that removing of firearms from the wrong hands will contribute in reducing serious and violent crimes committed during festive season.

White farmers are being systematically slaughtered in South Africa
Published by South Africa Today on 25th November 2019
The slaughter of white South African farmers is ongoing and on the increase. And nothing is being done about it! The ANC government, who has been implicated in these atrocities and who denies there existence, along with the main stream media, who refuse to cover the crisis as it does not suit there ‘narrative’, is creating a monumental disaster.
In the most recent attack on Sunday 24 November 2019, on a farm in Wolmaransstad, North West province. Five attackers, 3 men and two woman posed as sheep buyers and lured a couple from there home to the kraal to view sheep. The farmer (67) was tied up and brutally murdered whilst his wife was dragged to the farm house where she was very severely assaulted and tortured.
Groups of up to ten attackers, usually armed, are attacking white farmers and with the violence, torture, brutality and in some instances rape, this as argued by some, is not just normal crime!
With the pending ANC governments plan of expropriation with out compensation, which does not only apply to farms, but all property, including intellectual property, the crisis for all whites, not only farmers in the country is deepening.
On 19 November 2019, in Boschkop, Gauteng province, a farmer was shot dead and one female victim was stabbed in head, severely assaulted and tied up and tortured.
It was reported by Ian Cameron of AfriForum on 7 November 2019, that there have already been 376 farm attacks in South Africa since the start of 2019, that includes about 36 farm murders. In November there has been at least one attack every day so far.
- During the month of October 2019, there were twenty eight farm attacks and three farm murders.
- During September 2019, there were forty six farm attacks and seven farm murders.
- During August 2019, there were 45 farm attacks, 4 farm murders.
- During July 2019, there were 39 farm attacks, 4 farm murders.
- During the month of June 2019, there were 34 farm attacks and 6 farm murders.
- And for the period 1 January to the end of May 2019, there were already 184 Farm attacks and 20 farm murders.
A staggering statistic and the government says its not happening!

A farmer, who is also a member of the neighborhood watch, was busy examining the fences on his farm when an unknown number of people attacked him and tied him up. Afterwards the suspects sped away with his vehicle. The neighbourhood watch member is unharmed.
The AfriForum neighborhood watch in White River in cooperation with the SAPS, High-Tech Security and Netstar on 4 November 2019, traced a Toyota Fortuner at about 02:00 in the morning, after the vehicle was stolen during the farm attack.
The White River neighbourhood watch was notified late Sunday evening about the attack and stolen vehicle and a search for the suspects and vehicle was launched.
Neighbourhood watch members noticed the silver Fortuner at a Total petrol station in Kabokweni where the suspects were busy refueling the vehicle. The vehicle’s number plates were by then already removed. Neighbourhood watch members patrolling the area again observed the vehicle at around 01:00 near Casterbridge in the direction of Numbi.
Neighbourhood watch members and the SAPS chased the vehicle and followed it to Masoyi. According to Johan “Joe” Pelser of the White River neighbourhood watch the vehicle was pulled over near Ga-Tshwene, after which two suspects escaped.

Savage and brutal attack, farmer lucky to survive third attack, Normandien
Published by Oorgrens Veiligheid on 1st November 2019
A farmer, Anton Pitout (42) was attacked by a mob on his farm in Normandien, near Newcastle, in the mountain areas of the Drakensberg, Kwazulu Natal province on 31 October 2019. He was very severely assaulted with knobkerries and other objects all over his body, head and face and was lucky to survive. This is the third attack he has endured in this year.
A farmer who came to his assistance waas also assaulted. The attack comes on the back of a dispute with land affairs and locals over a 90 hectare portion of his farm that he offered to them so that he could continue his farming activities on the rest of the land.
And the police are refusing to assist in a case being opened pertaining to the ongoing intimidation of the farmer. This can be seen in the video at the end of this article.
The dispute is an ongoing struggle for Pitout who is suffering at the hands of indecisive actions of the local land affairs and getting no assistance from the authorities. The question is being asked, why must South African farmers who are providing food for the country continue to be attacked, murdered and tortured not getting any help from police or government?
